Welcome to the State of Wisconsin Office of Community and Faith Based Partnerships Web Site.
Wisconsin is fortunate to have diverse community and faith-based organizations that provide critical services to many Wisconsin residents – including assistance to children, families and neighborhoods. The Wisconsin Office of Community and Faith Based Partnerships formalizes the community and faith based partnerships that my administration has developed since taking office in 2003.
I recognize that while government has its role, local community and faith-based organizations can often offer a reach beyond what government can provide. By working alongside our community and faith based organizations – who are already actively engaged in our local communities – the government can make resources more accessible to families, neighborhoods and communities.
The Wisconsin Office of Community and Faith Based Partnerships will serve as a bridge that will connect community and faith based organizations to people and resource in state government. It is designed to serve as a link for ideas, and as a tool to build stronger neighborhoods and communities throughout Wisconsin.
We have already had great success in partnering with community and faith based organizations, and this office will allow us to do even more. By working with our community and faith based organizations, we can provide a better quality of life for people throughout Wisconsin.
